HFL Microphone Concern? Don’t Replace the Front Individual Map Light Assembly

On 2015−16 CR-Vs (EX and above), the Bluetooth^® HandsFreeLink^® (HFL) and HFL microphone are built into the audio unit/audio-navigation unit. There’s no longer a separate HFL control unit in the shift lever panel or HFL microphone in the front individual map light assembly.

Keep this in mind if you’re troubleshooting HFL for a microphone concern. Replacing the front individual map light assembly won’t fix anything since there’s no microphone in this part!
