Grille Moulding May Affect Cruise Control
If the sensor of the ACC cannot not function properly, the vehicle may accelerate or decelerate inappropriately when using ACC, increasing risk of crash.

Summary
Tong Yang Industry Co. (Tong Yang) is recalling certain Grille Mouldings, part number HD07251MB, sold for aftermarket installation on 2019-2020 Honda
HR-V vehicles. The grille moulding coating may prevent the radar sensor for the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), located behind the front grille, from functioning properly.
Remedy
Tong Yang will notify their distributors. Tong Yang will reimburse customers for replacement parts and installation costs. This recall began September 15, 2020. Owners may contact Tong Yang Service by calling 1-972-542-5378 or emailing [email protected].

To All distributors who Purchased a Recalled Grille Moulding:
Parts Covered by Recall:
The aftermarket grille moulding for the Honda HR-V 2019- EX/EX-L/Touring Model manufactured by Tong Yang (OE#71122T7 AJl1 / Partsli nk#HO1210163 / Tong Yang#HD07251MB) (“Recalled Grille Mouldings”).
Problem:
Due to a manufacturing defect, Recalled Grille Mouldings.
Actions to be taken by Distributors:
- Immediately stop selling and quarantine the Recalled Grille
- Immediately inform your customer of this
- Provide us with a list of the names, address, and telephone numbers of all repair shops and other customers who purchased a Recalled Grille Moulding from
- Request all repair shops and other customers who purchased a Recalled Grille Moulding from you to provide information regarding each customer whose vehicle was repaired using a Recalled Grille Moulding including the following:
Name and address of repair shop
Consumer’s name and address
Date of vehicle repair
Remedies:
Unsold Recalled Grille Mouldings
Tong Yang will reimburse you for all Recalled Grille Mouldings in your inventory. You should check your current inventory of Recalled Grille Mouldings and destroy them. Promptly inform us by email of the number of Recalled Grille Mouldings sold by you and the number of Recalled Grille Mouldings remaining in your inventory. Send us digital photographs of all destroyed Recalled Grille Mouldings including each shipping label, clearly showing your and our item numbers, lot number and purchase order number.
Recalled Grille Mouldings sold to Customers
If a Recalled Grille Moulding has been sold and installed by a repair shop, we will reimburse the repair shop for the cost of replacing the Recalled Grille Moulding with an OE Grille Moulding. Please request the repair shop to take digital photos showing the whole vehicle and the Recalled Grille Moulding . We will reimburse the repair shop directly upon receipt of an invoice for the repairs. Requests for reimbursement should be sent to:
