SYMPTOM
When driving, you hear a ticking or rattling from the roof console.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The sunglass holder hinge bushing rattles because of a lack of lubrication.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the roof console assembly that contains the sunglass holder.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
- Turn off the map light switch.
- Carefully pry off the lens with a small screwdriver.
- Open and remove any items from the sunglass holder.
- Remove the screws.
- Disconnect the connectors and lower the roof console assembly.
- Remove the HomeLink unit and the map light assembly from the roof console assembly.
- Install the HomeLink unit and the map light assembly into the new roof console assembly.
- Reinstall the roof console assembly in the reverse order of removal.
