Hazard Warning Switch Sticks

2010−13 MDX (All trim levels except base)
Is the hazard warning switch sticking? Don’t rush off and replace the switch; most likely it’s not the cause. Chances are the culprit is the dashboard center panel that the switch mounts into. Some panels have a really tight opening for that switch. When the switch is pressed, it rubs against the sides of the opening.
To check for this, just pull out the switch and look for signs of rubbing in the panel opening. If you see any, you probably just need to replace the panel and not the switch.
