You can update modules individually, but recommended to update all modules.

I have a 1st gen Honda Civic hybrid with a 1st gen battery in good working order, any updates to the IMA control system will require the purchase of a new battery which I don’t need yet.

The J2534 user manual shows the different control modules as being individually selectable, is this true? Can it be done?

Do all Honda dealerships have this software and the tools to use it?

What should a service check and update cost through the dealership?
